We have another exciting SEC matchup on the schedule as the Texas A&M Aggies and the Texas Longhorns will tip off at 2:30 PM ET on Saturday at Moody Center. The Aggies come with some offensive prowess as they have averaged 75.7 points per game this season.

Texas A&M can’t worry too much about competing against Texas: they just beat Ole Miss at home, who had been dominant on their home court up to that point. Texas A&M dodged a bullet on Wednesday, finishing off Ole Miss 63-62. The win made it back-to-back wins for the Aggies.

Texas A&M smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds (they rank first in offensive rebounds per game overall). That strong performance was nothing new for the team: They have now pulled down at least 10 offensive rebounds in 31 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Texas earned a 61-53 victory over Missouri on Tuesday.

Among those leading the charge was Arthur Kaluma, who posted a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance also earned him a new career-high in offensive rebounds (six).

Texas A&M has been on a roll lately, winning 11 of their last 13 games, which is a nice improvement to their 15-4 record this season. As for Texas, their win increased their record to 13-6.

There is likely to be some serious foul play as both teams are among the highest scoring teams in the league. Texas A&M has had no problem running up the scoring this season, averaging 75.7 points per game. However, it’s not like Texas is struggling in that area as they have averaged 79.4. With both teams able to rack up points so easily, the only question that remains is who can make the score higher.

Texas A&M won the previous game on January 4 against Texas with a convincing 80-60. The rematch could be a little tougher for Texas A&M as the team won’t have home field advantage this time. We’ll see if the change of location makes a difference.
