Carolina Panthers -star Lineman earns his first career requirement to Pro Bowl

When the 2025 Pro Bowl grilles were announced about a month ago, only one Carolina Panthers player made the cut for the NFC side: Cornerback Jaycee Horn. Various Panthers players, however, were mentioned as alternatives – and one of them finally goes to Orlando.

Today we learned that Carolina’s Star Right Robert Hunt will reach the Pro Bowl team. He will take the place of Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson, who will be preparing for the Super Bowl Rematch with Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and the Referees of Kansas City.

For Hunt it is his first Pro Bowl-Knik, even though he played at a high level since he came to the NFL as a second round concept choice with the Miami Dolphins in 2020. Hunt appeared in 61 games with Miami and earned 55 Start 55 Start for years in the competition.

Hunt ended a lucrative long -term agreement with the Panther’s last season, with a five -year contract, $ 100 million that made him the second highest guard in the NFL in the annual salary behind Chris Lindstrom of the Atlanta Falcons, whose earning a half million more per year.

Splitting guards is not what you should do when building a modern NFL grid, but this specific investment has worked well for the Panthers.

While left -wing guard Damien Lewis eventually earned a higher general figure from Pro Football Focus for the season, this year Hunt turned out to be one of the best Runblocking rules in the competition. His work helped to free up the road for Chuba Hubbard to enjoy a breakout year, in which almost 1,200 hurry recruit and 10 touchdowns were placed on the floor.

Hunt was also a major upgrade in pass protection and helped to reduce Bryce Young’s pocket number of 62 as a rookie up to 29 this season.

Looking ahead, Hunt is a core piece for the Carolina attack to build around while they want to take advantage of the development of Young. With a little more help with a broad recipient we can watch a top-15 score attack next season.
